Edwin L. Harper

Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors

Edwin L. Harper has been one of our directors since July 2000. He was elected as our Lead Independent Director in April 2003 and as the Chairman of our Board of Directors in January 2008. He is also currently acting as our Interim Chief Executive Officer. Since February 2005, Mr. Harper has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of WhiteCell Software, Inc., a network security company. From March 2001 to January 2005, Mr. Harper was a consultant and private investor. Mr. Harper is also a director of Ditech Networks, Inc., a telecommunications equipment supplier.

Doyle C. Weeks

President and Chief Operating Officer

Doyle C. Weeks, 61, has been one of our directors since July 2000. Mr. Weeks has been President and Chief Operating Officer since February 2005. Prior to that he was our Executive Vice President of Group Operations and Business Development from July 2000 to January 2005.

C. David Perry

Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Management Systems Division

C. David Perry has been our Executive Vice President and the General Manager of our Management Systems Division since January 2006, our Executive Vice President of Global OEM Markets from February 2005 to December 2005, our Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and OEM Sales from May 2003 to January 2005, our Senior Vice President of OEM Sales from April 2002 to May 2003, and our Vice President of OEM Sales from July 2000 to April 2002.

Christopher L. Thomas

Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Christopher L. Thomas has been our Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer since June 2006, our Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer from January 2006 to May 2006, and our Senior Vice President of Engineering from July 2000 to December 2005.

Douglas (Dusty) E. Pritchett

Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy

Douglas E. Pritchett has been our Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy since February 2007, our Executive Vice President of Marketing from July 2005 to January 2007, our Executive Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Assistant Secretary from February 2005 to July 2005, and our Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Assistant Secretary from July 2000 to February 2005.

Samuel F. Saracino

Executive Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary

Samuel F. Saracino has been our Executive Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary since February 2005 and our Senior Vice President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary from July 2000 to January 2005.

Stephen M. Daly

Executive Vice President and General Manager of the LANDesk Division

Stephen M. Daly has been our Executive Vice President and General Manager of our LANDesk Division since January 2007, our Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy from February 2005 to December 2006, and our Vice President of Embedded Solutions from November 2003 to January 2005. From October 2002 to November 2003, he was Chairman and CEO of Soronti, Inc., a company that manufactured remote access hardware which we acquired in November 2003. Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing, Systems Management Division, of Intel Corporation, a hardware manufacturer, since 1992.

William A. Dambrackas

Executive Vice President of Advanced Technology

William A. Dambrackas has been Avocent's Executive Vice President, Advanced Technology since February 2005 and Senior Vice President, Advanced Technology from January 2001 to January 2005. Prior to that, he was the Founder and President of Equinox Systems, a provider of server-based communications products which Avocent acquired in 2001. Mr. Dambrackas is the inventor of DVC (Dambrackas Video Compression) which is used in all Avocent Digital KVM products.

Kay E. Kienast

Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Kay E. Kienast has been our Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer since January 2008. From October 2006 to November 2007, she was Chief Marketing Officer for Presidio Networked Solutions, a value-added reseller, and from December 2004 to September 2006, she was the Commercial Sector Marketing General Manager for CDW, a provider of IT equipment, solutions, and services. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Viadux, a manufacturer of network equipment.

Dudley A. DeVore

Senior Vice President of Global Branded Markets

Dudley A. DeVore has been our Senior Vice President of GLOBAL Branded Markets since January 2006, our Senior Vice President of Branded Markets, Americas from February 2005 to December 2006, our Vice President of Commercial Sales, Americas, from February 2002 to January 2005, and our Vice President of Domestic Sales from July 2000 to January 2002

Edward (Teddy) H. Blankenship

Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary

Edward H. Blankenship has been our Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Assistant Secretary since July 2005. From July 2002 to July 2005, he was our Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to that he was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1998 to June 2002.

Eugene F. Mulligan

Senior Vice President of Global Operations

Eugene F. Mulligan has been our Senior Vice President of Global Operations since January 2006, our Senior Vice President of Operations, Redmond, from February 2005 to December 2005, our Vice President of West Coast Operations from November 2001 to January 2005, our Director of Redmond Operations from November 2000 to October 2001, and our Manufacturing Engineering Manager from July 2000 to October 2000. Prior to that, he held the same position at Apex since April 2000.

Kieran MacSweeney

Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Avocent Desktop Solutions Division and Managing Director of Avocent International, Ltd.

Kieran MacSweeney has been our Senior Vice President and the General Manager of the Avocent Desktop Solutions Division and Managing Director of Avocent International since January 2006, our Senior Vice President of Global Corporate Quality and Managing Director of Avocent International since February 2005 and our Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations from July 2000 to January 2005.

Mitch Friend

Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Avocent Connectivity and Control Division

Mitch Friend has been our Senior Vice President and the General Manager of our Avocent Connectivity and Control Division since January 2006, our Vice President of Sales for the Equinox Division from January 2003 to January 2006, and our Director of Sales for the Equinox Division from April 2001 to January 2003.

Tom Miller

Senior Vice President of OEM Sales

Thomas J. Miller has been our Senior Vice President for of OEM Markets since January 2006 and our Vice President of OEM Sales from August 2002 to January 2006. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Business Development for MicroASI, a semiconductor packaging start-up company, from September 1999 to January 2001, Vice President & General Manager of Acer America's Computer Systems Division from March 1997 to July 1999, and Vice President at Texas instruments, Information Technology Group from June 1973 to March 1997 where he held a variety of positions in sales, product management, channel marketing, and business unit management.

Julie Yarbrough

Vice President of Human Services

Julie C. Yarbrough has been our VP of Global Human Resources since January 2006, leading the personnel integration effort for all mergers and acquisitions within the company since the year 2000. Prior to the current VP role, she served as Director of U.S. Human Resources from 2004 to January 2006, after serving as a Manager of Human Resources for the company since 1993 when it was Cybex Computer Products Corporation.
